Refund policy

No General Returns: The Legal Nomads Art Shop does not hold inventory, and each item is printed to order / on demand. As a result, there are no returns for items purchased. With the exception of EU rules below, once an order has been fulfilled, it is non-cancelable. 

Exchanges: Prior to shipment, you may exchange your item for a different one. To do so, please email jodi@legalnomads.com 

What if there's something wrong with my order? While each product is inspected for quality assurance before shipping, it is possible to receive a damaged item, or a mistake due to human error where you do not obtain the item you ordered. For these reasons, it is important to open and inspect your items as soon as you receive them.

Please notify me within 14 business days of receiving your package if there is anything wrong with your order with the following:

  • A photo of the packaging from your order.
  • A photo of the item(s) that were incorrectly sent to you.
  • A photo of your packing slip included with the package, which needs to also show your order number and itemize the correct items that you did not receive.

I will make sure you get an equivalent item to the one you ordered, or a refund, as soon as possible. Unfortunately, I cannot honor changes outside of the time frames stated within our policies.

European Union 14 day cooling off period: Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds: I will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Your shipping questions, answered!

When will my order be shipped?

Once your order is received, it customarily prints via Printful, and they then ship it within 3-5 business days.

Do you guarantee shipping times?

No, we don't. We have the utmost faith in our shipping providers, but can only guarantee what is in our control.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We have sent orders all over the world, including to places like Pakistan and New Zealand and Mexico. 

Presently, to keep shipping costs down we use the best available rates and you can always choose to upgrade the type of shipping for your order. Remember, sometimes international shipping can take longer (the Pakistan package was particularly drawn out), but we can provide you with updated shipping data if you contact us. 

What are shipping costs? 

Below are the shipping costs from the Printful Inc. fulfillment center, and they are therefore subject to change as Printful requires. These costs are passed on to each customer, since the items are printed on demand and sent out directly from Printful's factories and fulfillment centers worldwide.

Depending on where you place your order, costs may be slightly less, or more, if a closer fulfillment center can be located to print and ship your item.

What about international duties and fees?

Due to the complex nature of international laws and taxes, we do not include those fees in orders. You are responsible for any local customs and duties on your order. We are required by law to disclose the full value of the package contents and cannot alter this value. If an order is refused, then you are responsible for the original shipping expenses, as well as any additional duties, fees, customs or taxes incurred in shipping. We cannot mark an item as a 'gift'.

What happens if my order is lost by the postal service?

We're not responsible for any errors made by the postal service. However, if your package has not been received within three weeks of receiving your shipping notification email (six weeks for international), please contact us and we will follow up with our shipping service and/or help you with information needed to file a claim with the postal service. We have not yet received note of a lost a package, however!

If a package is returned because the address provided to us was incorrect, we are not responsible for the cost of re-shipping it. We will contact the buyer for the correct address, and buyer will need to re-pay shipping before we will send the package again.

If delivery is refused by recipient or a package is unclaimed for any reason, the order will not be refunded.
